West Ham say that 94 per cent of season ticket holders have renewed ahead of the 2019/20 season.

According to the club, nearly 19 out of every 20 season ticket holders have renewed ahead of today's deadline - although more than 3,000 fans have failed to do so whilst Club London renewal rates are though to be considerably lower.

Regardless, the figures are being hailed as a major success by the club, as the overall renewal rate slightly trumps the rate for the previous two seasons in Stratford.

"At today's 5pm deadline for season ticket renewals, a record 94 per cent of season ticket holders have renewed for the 2019/2020 Premier League campaign, surpassing even the previous renewal rates at London Stadium," read a club statement.

"The record rate includes those who snapped up the half-season tickets when we increased London Stadium capacity to 60,000."

The non-renewed season tickets are set to be distributed amongst those on the club's season ticket waiting list, which is said to number in the region of 36,000 at present - considerably lower than the 50,000 figure of 12 months ago.
