Tickets for West Ham United's opening pre-season friendly against SC Rheindorf Altach are now available for purchase.

Manuel Pellegrini's Hammers, including new signings Roberto and Pablo Fornals will take on the Austrian Bundesliga side in the 8,500-capacity Stadion Schnabelholz on Thursday, 11 July in their opening test of pre-season.

And tickets for the match, which kicks off at 5.30pm local time, are priced at a very reasonable £17 each and can be purchased now from West Ham United's online Box Office, which may be found on the club's website.

Altach, managed by former Dutch midfielder Alex Pastoor narrowly avoided relegation from the Austrian top flight last season having finished 11th in the (12-team) table during the regular season.

The Stadion Schnabelholz, which is alternatively known as the Cashpoint Arena for sponsorship purposes is an 8,500-capacity stadium with two main stands and two open terraces at either end of the ground.

Altach typically attract crowds in the region of 4-6,000 for home matches in the Austrian Bundesliga - their most recent of which was a 3-1 defeat of Hartberg last month.

The club hope to sign at least three more players ahead of West Ham's visit next month as they look to give the first team squad a shake-up, having already recently completed the capture of Bernd Gschweidl and Matthias Maak.

The match will take place at the end of a week's pre-season training at West Ham's Swiss training camp at Bad Ragaz, just over the border.
