Rice ready for first Wembley start

Declan Rice is in line to make his fourth international appearance after being named in Gareth Southgate's latest England squad for the forthcoming UEFA 2020 qualifiers.

West Ham's young midfielder is one of 25 players named by England manager Southgate for the forthcoming fixtures against Bulgaria and Kosovo.

Rice, who made his full international debut against the Czech Republic on 22 March this year has since featured against Montenegro and in the recent Nations League Finals.

He is joined in the squad by new faces Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Tyrone Mings, whilst James Maddison and Rice's childhood friend, Chelsea's Mason Mount, are also in line to make their first international appearances.

England face Bulgaria at Wembley on Saturday, 7 September before hosting Kosovo at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium three days later.
