Southampton's Austrian manager has ordered his side to "be brave" when they host West Ham at St Mary's this weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini takes his squad to the south coast knowing that it could be his final game in charge of the Hammers should they suffer yet another Premier League defeat.

However that is of little concern to Ralph Hasenhüttl, who has told his team to play their own game - regardless of West Ham's position or form.

Speaking about their defeat at Newcastle last weekend - a match they lost 2-1 having led at one stage - he said: "We had not played that bravely before - and also not as bravely after the equaliser. We should stay on our track.

"The intensity of the game must be a high one in our stadium. If we are in a good mode at our own ground, then we have shown in the last two games that we can win."
